Townsville airport, Aromas.
Roller door coming up at 6am and annoying me said, Are you open yet?
In my days gone by I would have had a smarty pants response to that question.
Young girl replied, Yes, come in and I wont be a moment.
I asked how fussy can I be?
No prob what would you like, she said.
I orderd a 30 ml double shot with half the milk, a little over not too hot in a 8oz cup.
I need a takeaway cup at airports to enjoy my smoke.
Coffee and Ciggy is similar to Salt and Pepper,
One without the other is not complete
It is a WOW cup.
I called the office number printed on the base of my cup and left a message explaining that this young girl is exceptional and deserves recognition.
I put her to the supreme test of ordering another.
I walked in to the shop and the queue was 10 people deep.
I stood in the queue and within a minute or less, she popped her head around the machine looking deeply past the really needy red Eye clients and nodded to gain my attention without disturbing the folk in front and mouthed, " the same again"?
I nodded with disbelief that the service had excelled and doubted the second WOW cup possible.
It was Wow.
